MISSION
Hi, there! I’m a Sydney-based creative soul looking to produce work that matters. I’m a unique medley of design and healthcare, allowing me to approach the realms of user-centred design with a strong sense of empathy. I design with intention, using my creative and problem-solving skills to address complex issues. My favourite pastimes include the conceptual building of ideas and breathing life into imagination.
SPECIALITIES
-
Research is an essential process to all aspects of design and allows designers to understand the needs, pain points and behaviours of users. It’s only through synthesising these insights that I’m able to create well-informed designs and products that prioritises the experience of the user.
I have experience conducting:
user interviews
surveys
usability testings
card sortings

A key component to design is cohesion and functionality. I use visual elements to evoke emotions and communicate messages in an aesthetically pleasing manner. I’ve worked on projects in both the digital space and in print, and have a penchant for bold typographic designs.
As part of the UTS Shopfront Program, I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working with The Shepherd Centre, a non-profit organisation here in Sydney that gives children with hearing loss a voice. Collaborating within a small team, we were tasked with designing a hardcover book that commemorated the 50th anniversary of the organisation. It was truly a rewarding experience telling the stories of families that have gone through the program. We worked closely alongside the client to understand their design needs and vision for the publication.

Possibly one of my favourite phases of the design process because it gets the creative cogs turning. Conjuring ideas through sketching, brainstorming, mindmapping and braindumping are just a few techniques I personally use when it comes to this stage of the design process.
-
There’s something fulfilling about developing the skeleton of a product and then translating that into low-fidelity and then high-fidelity prototypes. Involving stakeholders in the early stages of wireframing allows for valuable feedback and conversations without expending too many resources.
On collaborative projects at General Assembly Australia, I’ve taken the reigns on Prototype Lead for conceptual and client projects.
